MEETING WITH MEDICAL EDUCATION MINISTER

Meeting with deputy chief minister of Karnataka

After all the follow-up, a sum of Rs. 1 crore 37 lacs was released by Government of Karnataka to Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health(IGICH) for free IVIG therapy to PID patients.

Treatment for patients below 18 years has already started but IGICH is not ready to treat adult patients reasoning that IGICH is a child Hospital.

We tried maximum from our end to convince the concerned authority that the said amount is to treat all the PID patients without any bias, but all in vein.

So our approach was to the concerned minister i.e. Medical Education minister of Karnataka.
