PIDPWS is came into existence in the 2013. It is formed by the PID families and well-wishers to support these patients to get proper diagnosis as well as treatment on time. It is a collective voice of all the PIDs throughout INDIA. PIDPWS started its work in Karnataka which was the first state to announce special Budgetary allocation for PIDs and immediately all our PIDs were given free IVIg.Mean while through High court of Karnataka we were successfully in getting free treatment for our adult PIDs as well. Simultaneously we have been successful in persuading the Government of India to announce Rare Disease policy which came into existence in the year 2021, due to this all the PIDs throughout INDIA shall recieve free treatment as well as BMT.
